I can only imagine that there is about as much brand loyalty for a Ramen Noodle manufacturer, as that I have for a cardboard box! & just like the box, my little package of noodles serves it’s purpose. It’s quick to prepare, & awesome to enjoy. But as I was looking over Top & Maruchan packaging & I got to wondering… just how loyal are Ramen Noodle enthusiasts? Has one ever shown up to their grocery store, or other Ramen Noodle outlet, & upon finding their flavor of target to be sold out, actually passed up on a competitors noodle?
We all have our brand loyalty. Even if you are shaking your head is denial, yes you as well. Some brand loyalties are a little more obvious, Ford vs Chevy, Nike vs Adidas, Mac vs PC. Others are not, such as cell phone carriers, coffee, fast food. The list can go on & on.
The next time you are in your local grocery store, or where ever you make your Ramen Noodle purchase, stop & think to your self just why you are picking the specific brand. How did you come to the conclusion to purchase this package of sodium filled, salty flavored instant noodle goodness? Is it really based on price, or is there more going on upstairs in the attic than you first suspected? Think it over… make your purchase… enjoy your noodle soup.
